ASCOMP organizes a bi-annual hands-on training session on its software TransAT. In these one-day sessions, the participants get to know the code structure, architectures, physics, numerics and installation details via 3 seminars, presented by ASCOMP’s members. In the afternoon, each group of 2/3 persons formed is assigned to a tutor (in general depending on the language: French, English, German, Italian). The group will work on a computer and learn how to setup its own test case. We generally request from the participants to send us a test case for preparation (we select 3 or 4 for each session depending on the attendees level of experience in CFD).
